Ahead of El-Clasico, Barcelona boss Enrique rested his known stars to ensure they stayed fit for the Clasico game against Real Madrid on Saturday.  But this came at a cost...

because contrary to Luis Enrique's talk yesterday about how he plans to win the Copa Del Rey, Barcelona had it tough against Hercules yesterday. Key player like Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Pique, Mascherano did not play. The only notable players included Arda Turan and Rafinha and it was obvious that Barca was struggling to find the cutting edge strikes that will ensure their victory at the end of the game.

At the end, despite many chances and a tough Hercules side, Barcelona drew while Real Madrid won 6-1

Bruce argued his man only showed "petulance" when he was provoked by Jan. And such behaviour could not be regarded as "violent". The City went down when Tottenham's Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen found the net in the game's second half. Speaking with his news conference, Bruce said, "Ramirez has shown petulance. Vertonghen has had a little go at him, and Ramirez has flicked out. The law says it is a violent conduct. For me, it is an act of petulance -- it is not violent conduct." Via espn
