Willian free kick gives Chelsea victory over Dynamo Kiev

A late Willian free kick has given Chelsea a 2-1 victory over Dynamo Kiev in their Champions League clash this evening.

The hosts started the game brightly, as Dynamo Kiev keeper Oleksandr Shovkovskiy denied both Ramires and Oscar early on, before Diego Costa blazed an effort over the bar.Chelsea took the lead on 34 minutes thanks to an own goal, as an inviting right-wing cross from Willian was diverted into the net by Dynamo defender Aleksandar Dragovic.

The visitors came close to an equaliser after the break, as Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma produced a last-ditch tackle to deny Artem Kravets, before Willian forced a save from Shovovskiy with a header at the other end of the pitch.Jose Mourinho's side should have added a second goal on the hour mark, when Zouma fired wide from a tap-in opportunity following a free kick, before Shovkovskiy denied an Oscar effort in the top corner of the Dynamo goal.Dynamo found an equaliser on 77 minutes, as Asmir Begovic misjudged a corner, before an unmarked Dragovic nodded home at the far post.

Every violation comes with a corresponding fine, ask Benjamin Mendy. Pep plans to repeat his outstanding triumph like he did last season.
