Juventus have confirmed the release of Dani Alves, Manchester City to move in on him


Following Alves' statement that he would like the club to release, Juventus have officially declared that they have parted with the 34-year old right-back.

A statement on Juve's official website read: "Juventus Football Club is to part company with Dani Alves after agreeing to a termination of the player's contract."

Alves joined Juve last summer and suffered a broken leg. But he returned to help them win Serie A and Coppa Italia and to take them to the UEFA Champions League final.
