The FA has confirmed that the proceeds of the 2017 Community Shield that would be holding at the Wembley Stadium on the 6th of August will be donated to those affected by the horrific Grenfell Tower fire incident.

They hope to raise £1.25 million for the affected people. FA Chairman Greg Clarke made a statement:

"They will be united in their passion for football; their grief at this tragic loss; and their support for their community.

"Football is for all, and we hope that on Sunday August 6 it can in its own way give something back to those who are most in need."
