Barcelona sign star English female footballer Toni Duggan from Manchester City




Barcelona has just unveiled their new signing Toni Duggan from Manchester City. The 25-year old Duggan spent four seasons at Manchester City and won the Women's Super League in 2016. She was part of the England squad that made it to the 2015 Women World Cup semi-finals.

She had this to say...

"For me, Barcelona is the biggest club in the world and naturally I wanted to come her and be part of it.
"I have had a lot of success in England but I want to have even more. I think I need another trophy on my list and I know that Barca's ambition is to win the Champions League. This is my goal too.

"I am really looking forward to the new season, it's going to be a new challenge for me but one that I will relish."
