According to Sky Sport sources, West Ham United has shown interest in Manchester United record goal-scorer Wayne Rooney. They are willing to bid for him if he decides to leave Old Trafford in the summer.

Furore over the Marseille sales of Didier Drogba and Samir Nasri into Chelsea and Arsenal respectively escalated to more arrests on Tuesday.
