According to London Evening Standard, Arsenal has moved in stronger on their target at Middlesbrough. Arsenal are keen on acquiring the services of Middlesbrough defender, Ben Gibson.
But Middlesbrough are likely to let him go for about £30million.
Furore over the Marseille sales of Didier Drogba and Samir Nasri into Chelsea and Arsenal respectively escalated to more arrests on Tuesday. The people arrested are: Current OM president Vincent Labrune, and his two predecessors, Jean-Claude Dassier and Pape Diouf. According to ESPN, these are among around a dozen people being questioned by police over commission and alleged illicit payments made on transfers involving the Ligue 1 outfit.
