Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy speaks out on "death threats"



Following Ranieri's sack, Leicester City's star marksman Jamie Vardy has revealed that he has received "death threats" from angry fans.

He also admitted that his wife was a victim of a road-rage incident as a result of suggestions that he [Vardy] was involved in a dressing room revolt against their former coach.

According to ESPN, Vardy said: "The stories were quite hurtful to be honest with you".

"A lot of false accusations were being thrown out there and there's nothing us, as players, could do about it.
