Marco Asensio has revealed that his coach Zidane made him understand that he could meet up with the standards of a left-footer like Lionel Messi.

He told COPE

"Zidane told me that since Messi, he had never seen a left foot like mine,"

"I was a little impressed, because Messi is a piece of a footballer."
