Arsenal launch Investigation as Cologne fans arrive without tickets and vandalize stadium in order to get in

Knowing Arsenal was at home, it is law that the home fans will be preferred in ticket sales number over Cologne fans. But Cologne fans were not having that.

17,000 fans arrived at the Emirates Stadium even after only 3,000 tickets were sold. They broke fences and tried to get in and also stop Arsenal fans from getting into the stadium as well.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said he expects UEFA to launch an investigation following the attacks. He said:
"The 3,000 tickets issues to Cologne fans was in line with competition rules but it is clear many more visiting fans arrived, causing significant congestion and disturbance outside the stadium before kick-off.

Many tickets were sold through touts and this is very disappointing."
