Real Madrid wins more trophies than Manchester United...hence his decision to shun Man U during summer transfer, Bale reveals

According to DailyMail in an interview with Gareth Bale, he opened up on why he decided to stay in Real Madrid and snub Manchester United during the summer transfers.

He said..
"But I think the main thing, when you look back on your career, is that you look at your trophies. In the end that's probably the most important thing."

He went on to reveal how ex-Spurs teammate Luka Modric helped him settle down in Spain.

He said of Modric: "We played very well together at Tottenham. Him being here was a reason why I came to Madrid. I knew what a good player he was.

"I think it helped me settle in a lot quicker. Having someone to help you is massive especially with such a big move abroad."
