Real Madrid to appeal captain Sergio Ramos red card against Barcelona

Real Madrid has announced that they would be appealing for Sergio Ramos' red card to try to cancel any further penal consequences.

Ramos in the weekend's El-Clasico made a very serious two-feeted challenge against Lionel Messi and the official report said he used "excessive force" in "knocking over his opponent". But Madrid has come out to say that the report doesn't accurately reflect what happened.

Although Real Madrid doesn't know what exactly will come out of their appeal, but the challenge has brought a lot of talks from football players and coaches. One of Real Madrid's former coaches Fabio Capello said that the challenge was "red, red, red"
