Newscastle United secured a promotion to top division Premier League with a 4-1 win over Preston on Monday.

Newscastle United coach Rafa Benitez expressed that he was "proud" of his team.

He told Sky Sports, "From the beginning of the season we worked so hard,"

"And it's so difficult when you are in the Premier League and go down and have to rebuild the team. I am really proud."
