In the wake of Neymar's move to PSG, Barcelona are making sure they are not left hanging by when the transfer window closes so are making a £120m bid for Liverpool midfielder Coutinho. This bid could make the 25-year old Brazilian the second most expensive player in the world.

Furore over the Marseille sales of Didier Drogba and Samir Nasri into Chelsea and Arsenal respectively escalated to more arrests on Tuesday.
