MESSI TOPS ESPN FC'S PLAYER POWER RANKINGS

With his intriguing performance this season, the five-time Ballon d'Or award winner has yet come to have the most votes by ESPN FC's worldwide editorial desks from last weekend's action.

The 29-old Argentine brought his team Barcelona back from an intending draw at Valencia. With a tackle on Suarez in '18 yard box, a penalty was awarded to the visiting side. Lionel Messi drove Barcelona to a 2-3 away win against Valencia which has made him a force to be reckoned with this season.
