Spotlight on Sane: From Grace to Grass

Everyone seems to be talking about Sane. He was a wonder to behold last season in the Premier League and really didn't have to struggle for recognition by his club coach Pep Guardiola. But things have been going left for the left-footer...

Since the new Premier League season began, Sane hasn't been chosen regularly by his coach who once adored him. He has basically been struggling to make the first team. Sane was omitted among even the substitutes in the 2-1 weekend game against Newcastle.

Back at home, Sane has been beckoned on for International duty for Germany's game against World Cup champions France in Munich on Thursday for the UEFA Nations League opener. However, Germany's head coach Low is still considering starting the youngster. Midfield veteran and teammate Toni Kroos believes that Sane is having issues because: "Sometimes you have the feeling with Leroy's body language that it is all the same, whether we win or lose. He has to improve his body language,"

Considering Germany's very poor World Cup performance, Low cannot take any chances that could further show that he is not capable of managing the German squad.

Sane still remains a very talented youngster with great years ahead of him. He still has the opportunity to grow and become all he can be.
