Nigeria given Deadline to avoid Seven-Month Ban

FIFA wants the reinstatement of the NFF Board that was elected on 30 September. Nigeria stands to be expelled from Africa Cup of Nations qualifications if they fail to comply.
Though the Super Eagles are the defending champions, they may be on the verge of missing their chance to defend their title at the forthcoming AFCON events. Nigeria has already been banned twice due to government interference in NFF and FIFA has warned the country in September and again in October that another incident would result in a lengthy ban.
