Di Maria says Thank You!!

Angel Di Maria shows appreciation to Manchester United fans for the warm welcome since he arrived in England. Angel Di Maria who was sold by Real Madrid for 59.7 million pounds said he was settled and comfortable with his new club Manchester United. He told United's official website: "The people here are amazing. I feel really comfortable, very happy, and really pleased. The way that people treat you really makes you feel good in your heart".

Ibrahimovic uncertain of the Ballon d'OR

Although Ibrahimovic considers last season as the "best of his career", he has ruled out his chances of receiving the Ballon d'OR owing to their failure to make the last World Cup. Ibrahimovic, 33, received an award as the French top flight leading scorer coupled with his team winning the French Ligue 1 title. However, the Swedish captain said "I've been nominated, but it will be difficult because I didn't play the World Cup". Nigeria given Deadline to avoid Seven-Month Ban

FIFA wants the reinstatement of the NFF Board that was elected on 30 September. Nigeria stands to be expelled from Africa Cup of Nations qualifications if they fail to comply. Though the Super Eagles are the defending champions, they may be on the verge of missing their chance to defend their title at the forthcoming AFCON events. Nigeria has already been banned twice due to government interference in NFF and FIFA has warned the country in September and again in October that another incident would result in a lengthy ban.

The much anticipated El-Clasico is here again to take place this weekend on the 25th of October, 2014. Ronaldo speaking to ESPNFC, said the Elclasico is not a match between him and Lionel Messi but a match between Real Madrid and Barcelona. What do you think?
