Lionel Messi wins Alfred di Stefano trophy and Pichichi award

Barcelona superstar forward Lionel Messi has been presented with two new feathers on his cap: Alfred Di Stefano trophy and Pichichi award. Messi scored 34 goals in 36 matches, and had 12 assists. The Alfred Di Stefano trophy is given to the best player in La Liga while the Pichichi award goes to the top goalscorer in the division. Messi was presented with the trophies by Marca Director Juan Ignacio Gallardo and La Liga president Javier Tebas.

City over the weekend dominated their Manchester counterparts in the derby as they went home smiling with 3-1 goal score. David Silva and Aguero put City in the lead by half time. Meanwhile, Sterling who just signed a renewal contract of £300,000 per week thought he should give some cheeky display which Guardiola wasn't too impressed with. At the moment, Pep is receiving praise for scolding Raheem for the cheeky display.
